Mathieu has a world of knowledge across all marketing disciplines and within the spirits industry. He started his career at Pernod Ricard in 1996 as part of Pernod Ricard Travel Retail in London. As Brand Director of Martell Cognac, he contributed to the value creation of the brand in Asia, through product innovations and creative campaigns. Whilst as Marketing & Digital Director in France, he worked across a large number of brands in the Pernod Ricard portfolio. Lately as Global Marketing Director for Royal Salute and Ballantine’s at Chivas Brothers, Mathieu has overseen major launches, including the Royal Salute 21 Year Old Restage and Range Expansion and limited editions such as the Royal Salute Royal Wedding Edition. Mathieu is very passionate about the industry and the conviviality that is at the heart of it, and is a Keeper of the Quaich.
